Root: Not rooted. Use Framaroot to root the device.

Chinese bloatware preinstalled. Most of it can be disabled and uninstalled.

Language: English / Chinese

If you have an international device – the radio will not work. Flash the file THL_T200_ModemFIX_by_CryNet(2) using SP Flash Tool to restore your baseband. (thanks to tweetycontrabajo for the link)

The ROM can be flashed without a factory reset – when you load the scatter file, unselect USRDATA and CACHE and the updater will keep your settings. If you encounter any issues – make a backup, reboot to recovery and do a factory reset.

BACKUP YOUR CURRENT ROM AND IMEI USING MTK DROID TOOLS!

 Install ROM:
- Unpack FlashTools, and Click on Flash_tool.exe
- Select a the MT6592_Android_scatter_emmc.txt in ROM
- Wait file to be added into Flash Tool

- (optional) if you want to keep your settings, contacts, installed apps, etc – deselect CACHE and USRDATA
- choose Option->USB Model,click USB Model
   –> Choose Option->DA DownLoad All->Speed->High Speed, click High Speed
- Turn off your phone, remove the battery.

- "Press F9 (hit Download button)" OR " if upgrade ROM Firmware->Upgrade "
- and connect your phone into the computer via USB data cable.
- The process will start and a red progress bar will appear after color purple, yellow.
- And green circles display
- Finish !

- You can now safely disconnect your phone and turn it on.
