Open the GPS to accept
Enter the "EngineerMode" interface ,slide to the "Location" and choose "YGPS" to access to the test
Put the phone on the window to have a test and see if there is the satellite to receive
If star turns to the green ,it shows that the phone has been located
Whether the singal is good or not ,it depends on the quantity of the star data
Normally it takes 5-10 minutes when phone locates  on the status of cold start
If still can be located ,you only need to optimize the phone via the hardware

GPS Problem

My GPS is working quite well either in sport tracking programs as well as osm navigation. THL W8S GPS

I got mine working satisfactorily. Three things are required:

1. Activate AGPS.
2. Enable Auto EPO downloads.
3. Select a local NTP server (default is Chinese)

There are a number of apps and tools to achieve steps 1 and 2 (Eg MobileUncle)
However step 3 I think requires root access (edit gps.conf file in Root Explorer), or some means of flashing a new gps.conf file to system\etc

Anyway, hope this helps.

Ladet euch die hier angehängte gps.cfg in den Ordner system/etc Damit ist in Europa recht schnell ein Satelliten Fix möglich und er geht auch nicht mehr spazieren.
Bei mir hat der Fix von 6 Satelliten auf der Terrasse gerade mal 45 Sekunden gedauert.

Hey, zopo zp980 & C2 release a new rom, and support OTA, should you phone version are on 0422, click "wireless update"  to 0521 rom
should your phone on 0412, 0516 or any other version, then we have to update it by flash tool， and before flash, we have to make sense that what is your phone version, as both ZP980 & C2 has a B VERSION And Normal version, if you found your phone in the battery slot, there is a mark" B" or " FC", then it is B version, it can not flash the normal version rom, or phone can not power on. following is the picture show.
